Clean the lint filter to maintain the air running freely after each use. Check regularly the exhaust line, particularly if it is not heated enough or it takes longer than usual to dry a load. Clean the duct once a year to prevent the lint that is a fire hazard from clogging. If you are using dryer sheets, remove the accumulation of film from the dryer by cleaning the moisture sensor strips with some flaking alcohol.
